To mark the official start of the 2011-2012 year, I’d like to welcome aboard the newly elected VDSC Executive!
Each of the candidates were voted on by the General Body, consisting of representatives from each of the 18 secondary schools across the city. They delivered fantastic speeches as well as platforms. I’m looking very much forward to working with this innovative crew this year!

Following the elections, we held the Presidents’ Social – an annual event in which Presidents and Vice Presidents of all Vancouver secondary schools come together to share ideas, make connections, and create plans for students across the District. What a success it was – we were able to entertain lively discussions around district collaboration opportunities as well as touch on more sensitive topics like Job Action.
